The best people. The best place to fish. You feel like family
We had a wonderful time staying here as a family. The folks that own/operate this place are great. On our first morning here we saw 3 manatees and alligators in the Wakulla River. The resident tarpon and bass were awesome too. We went out in the Gulf and the kids snorkeled in the clear water. We are from Texas and wanted to see this part of Florida for ourselves and we really wanted our children to see what Florida was before land developers, condos, golf courses and timeshares screwed it all up. We are so glad we came. On a side note, this is not a yacht club, so be sure the woman in your life can handle that. If she can't, you will not enjoy this place and you should probably get rid of her anyway, but I am sure you have heard that already.
This is a great place with great customer service. The Post Office didn't deliver my package correctly, and the owner himself jump in his vehicle to go track it down. The rooms are nice, the lodges are complete little homes, and it's right on the water.
My mom and I came in from California checked this place out on-line. Such a wonderful vibe and atmosphere, everything we'd hoped for plus more!
